After a varied career in the teaching and education administration field, Mr. Hansen returned to Humboldt State University in 1971 to assume the position of Dean of Campus Development. He retired from that position in 1977 and has remained active in the alumni association. This interview is being conducted in Mr. Hansen’s home in Arcata on January 13, 1984. The interviewer is Edie Butler representing the HSU Oral History Project.
