The goal for this piece was to incorporate as many compositional techniques as possible, using a limited number of instruments. It was, therefore, necessary to divide the piece into sections, each having its own character and concept. Each section has a different instrumentation and style. The piece is written for nineteen instruments (fourteen players), and is divided into nine sections. The combination of instruments was decided according to the range, tone color, and sonority. The traditional set up has been avoided both for visual and sonorous effects, by altering the direction and distance of the performers (as seen on next page). It must be noted that the composition requires a large area for set up.
