Project
Synthesis of unequally spaced antenna arrays for wideband applications in radio astronomy
This project will focus on the design of wideband antenna arrays, which can operate in the 1-22 GHz band. The design process utilizes the principle of providing unequal spacing between adjacent elements of the array, which has the desired effect of significantly increasing the bandwidth of a default uniformly spaced array. This project will have applications such as radio astronomy. Both one-dimensional and two-dimensional array geometries will be considered for simulation.
