Sunday morning

This is a collection of poems in three parts. The first two parts consist of original work, while the third part consists of translations from the Spanish poet Leopoldo Maria Panero’s latest work. The first two parts are meant to explore the coexistence of positive and negative space, and how each both hinges on and creates the other. The first two parts are mostly visual and spatial representations of space, with the third part (the translations) consisting of imagistic metaphors to counteract the concrete metaphors contained in parts I and II.
