Mindful Deep-Breathing and Teacher Burnout
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between mindful deep-breathing and teacher burnout rates. Hypothesis: The hypothesis of this is study is that utilizing deep-breathing mindfulness techniques will reduce and/or prevent private school teacher burnout. Methods: This study utilizes pre and post-test surveys. Results: Results were analyzed using bivariate correlations and paired samples T test. Results of this study yielded in an overall insignificant result regarding the intervention and teacher burnout levels. Discussion: While some interesting results were found, the overall hypothesis did not hold to be proven true.
