The Parent Perception Inventory: Validity and Hispanic vs. Anglo Comparisons

This thesis describes a study that examines the following questions: (1) What is the validity of the Parent Perception Inventory (PPI) in assessing children's perceptions of positive and negative parental behaviors; and (2) Are Hispanic children's scores on the PPI similar to those of Caucasian children? The study has a significant potential to increase the usefulness of the PPI by providing additional information regarding its validity for use with either Caucasian or Hispanic populations.
