K-band RF power amplifier at 19GHz

The objective of the graduate project is to design a Two-stage Power amplifier operating at 19GHz with transistor MGF4841CL by Mitsubishi Manufacturer. For this design, Lange coupler was used to couple both stages. The selection of the device was made to achieve linear power gain of 12dB and output power of 12.01dBm. This design uses distributed elements for input matching and output matching networks. Lange coupler was designed using microstrip line based on RO4003C substrate. Analytical calculation and results were verified using AWR, MATLAB and RF/MW E-BOOK software.
