What principal leadership behaviors do teachers feel help them to build collaborative relationships
The purpose of this study was to examine in one school district collaboration practices, to determine principal leadership behaviors that assist teachers in building collaboration. This research project asked teachers to reflect on how principal behaviors affect their collaborative relationships. Using qualitative research methods, the study looked for themes that emerged from interviews with the five teacher leaders. A central issue was to determine how principal leadership behaviors impacted teachers' collaborative relationships. How do these behaviors support school transformation by teachers working individually toward becoming a learning organization working collaboratively?
