Diet and food practices of Mexican American elderly.
Numerous agencies and groups have recently been addressing themselves to the problems of the aged in our society. The White House Conference on Aging in 1971 was held to attempt to determine the areas for concern and to determine solutions to the problems of the aged. Federal programs have been initiated to assist our elderly including Medicare and Food Stamps, and county involvement has also increased with, for example, the Meals-on—Wheels program.
