The relationship between certain kindergarten behaviors and scholastic achievement in the second and fifth grades.
This study developed from an interest in following the academic progress of students, who had been intensively studied as kindergarten children. Much interest has been shown in recent years in finding students at an early age who will experience difficulty with the reading process. Can behaviors observed in kindergarten students give clues as to which of these students will experience difficulty in acquiring reading and math skills?
