Autonomous GPS Guided Quadcopter - Project Archangel

The Archangel's project goal is to design an aerial vehicle that can autonomously follow a moving object at a specified relative position. The design of the Archangel is a GPS guided quadcopter, four rotor aircraft. The quadcopter adjusts in real time to follow the target using a GPS positioning system on both the object and the quadcopter. The quadcopter is manually deployed by the user then if desired the user may switch to the autonomous following mode. The Archangel aims to bring new functionality to quadcopters, an increasingly popular type of aerial vehicle.
