Assay development of a Myeloid Derived Suppressor Cell (MDSC) panel utilizing Fluorescent Immunohistochemistry (FIHC) and Automated Quantitative Analysis (AQUA®) technology
This Semester-In-Residence (SIR) program was completed at Navigate Biopharma Services, Inc., a Novartis subsidiary located in Carlsbad, CA. Navigate Biopharma Services specializes in providing services to various companies including assay development, and companion diagnostics and clinical trial testing, utilizing multiple platforms to meet unmet needs. The department in which the SIR project was completed is the Digital Pathology group that specializes in using multiplex fluorescent immunohistochemistry (FIHC) to develop assays to characterize biomarkers for immuno-oncology (I-O) purposes.
