An evaluation of a supplementary rainy-day indoor program for physical education
It was the problem in the study (1) to appraise as to their popularity and recreational value sixty indoor games and activities for seventh - eighth-grade boys and (2) to determine the carry-over value of the selected activities to free play periods. The organization and supervision of a successful physical education program is felt to be a vital factor to pupil morale within the school. An important requirement for a successful physical-education program is that the physical-education teacher be competent to conduct many fun-providing activities which offer diversion from the regimented school day.
