The Role of DNA Demethylation During Chondrogenesis

This thesis aims to study the role of 5-hydroxymethylation during chondrocyte differentiation. Understanding the mechanisms of the DNA demethylation machinery via this process during chondrogenesis will lead to a variety of possibilities for targeted therapeutic approaches.
