Smart Home Automation

The goal of this project is to monitor and control a home from away or nearby with an app on a mobile device. This is done by connecting appliances and devices to a network through Wi-Fi and routed and controlled by a Raspberry Pi 3 and router. Some applications of this technology include lighting, home security, entertainment, and thermostat regulation. Plus, controlling use of air conditioning/heating for maximum efficiency when house is busy or empty.
