Bureaucracy and Civil Service in the City of Glendale

The author of this study endeavors to research how bureaucracy fits into the world of modern public administration. A vast literature review is conducted in order to review the history of public administration and civil service, and how public service has evolved in the United States. A proposed methodology is presented as an explanatory, qualitative research study of the civil service system of the City of Glendale, and is followed by the background of the City’s bureaucratic model.
