Improving high school graduation rates for male minority Students

Many students will enter high school with the idea that it's similar to middle school. There is an underlying issue that when students notice that high school is completely different, they feel discouraged to finish school and eventually drop out. The purpose of this graduate project is to equip school counselors with the necessary tools to educate and assist male minority students about the importance of graduating through a professional development workshop. The objective of the workshop is for school counselors to learn more about minority male students, the importance of graduating and increasing high school graduation rates.
