Differentiated instruction in word work

This research was conducted to answer the question: "How do I differentiate instruction in the word work study to meet the individual needs of students who are at various developmental spelling gradations?". The question was divided into certain sections for further research. The first section of inquiry focused on Relevant Research in spelling. The second section concentrated on assessments and analysis of developmental spelling gradations. Lastly, the topic of Differentiated Instruction is reviewed. Once these sections were completed, a differentiated word work study was formulated.
