Polysensory learning media for automotive and power technology.

The importance of having a learner's many senses involved during instruction has been recognized and accepted by modern educators. Because of the nature of the subject matter, instruction in automotive and power technology courses permits the involvement of many senses while learning is in progress, particularly in learning manipulative skills. Power technology and automotive laboratories in many schools today are faced with increased student enrollments which result in a high student-per-teacher ratio. Studies have shown that the use of multi-media instructional aids, when properly coordinated with a learning program and utilized by students, can intensify the learning process in these large classes.
